Summary

The scanner screen was intended to provide an easy method for advanced users to search out extended codes. Please note that haphazard scanning can be detrimental to vehicle, please have a good understanding of what you are doing before attempting a scan.

Example scan parameters:
  • standard header, mode 1, pid 00 thru 4f
    look through generic functional mode parameters
  • 6C10F1 header, mode 22, pid 1100 thru 12ff, suffix 01
    yields lots of datapoints on GM

Menu Items

File
Start ScanBegins scan process
Stop ScanInterrupts scan process
Save OutputSaves content of output window to a text file
Save Output As...Prompts for new name of text file before saving
Append OutputAppends contents of output window to the end of last text file
Append Output As...Prompts for file name before appending output window contents
Print SetupInvokes standard print setup dialog
PrintPrints contents of output window to default printer
Exit
Edit
Select AllSelect all of the contents of the output window
Clear OutputClears output window contents
